Eastern Carolina Foot & Ankle Specialists participate with the Health Assist program in Pitt County and the ECU Cares program through ECU Physicians. Additionally, the physicians donate to the Newspapers in Education
Dr. Gauland is a Pirate Club member and donates time and funds into the ECU Lacrosse program, which he participated in while a student at East Carolina University. He also volunteers every year in the Med Law Classics Basketball game, which donates all proceeds towards health services at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Rosenthal donates to several local charities. His wife, Marilyn is a Wish Grantor for the Make a Wish Foundation.
